One unit: the processed record — an OData row that has one or more actions run against it in a single process job. You only pay when AutomatedOn does something useful with a record.
What you pay for
- Each unique record that triggers at least one action in a job — an API update, email, SMS, WhatsApp or any configured action.
- One record with multiple actions in the same job still counts as a single processed record.
What you don't pay for
- Records queried but filtered out and not actioned.
- Multiple actions on the same record within a job.
- Failed queries, health checks and connection tests.
- The number of process jobs you run — there's no limit.

Does AutomatedOn replace my existing systems?
No. Your existing systems stay the source of truth. AutomatedOn connects to them, reads live data, and runs actions across them — automating the work around your data, not storing it.
What systems can it connect to?
Any platform that exposes an OData feed or REST API. We ship pre-built example processes for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Aptem and Century Tech (coming soon), and configure custom integrations during onboarding for anything else.
Do we need technical staff to run it?
No. There's no complex visual programming to learn. We configure and deploy your automations for you, and they run reliably in the background.
What counts as a processed record?
A single OData row that has one or more actions run against it within a process job. Multiple actions on the same record still count as one; records queried but not actioned aren't charged, and there's no limit on how often jobs run.
How are the jobs run?
As scheduled or on-demand background jobs, batched and executed with per-run success and failure tracking. If a batch breaks, an admin failure notification goes out automatically.
Do I need my own Twilio and Azure accounts?
For messaging, yes. SMS and WhatsApp are sent through your own Twilio account, and email through your own Azure Communication Services account — so delivery costs are billed directly to you by those providers. We handle the integration.
